I first met John in 2006 when I started working as a carpenter at Fremantle Constructions and over the last 16 years, John has been a great influence on me as a boss, mentor and good friend. 

As a boss, he had an incredible work ethic and expected the best from his team. I’m grateful for the opportunities he offered me at a young age. He supported the development of my leadership skills and helped me to recognise weaknesses and improve in those areas.

We have always had a strong relationship and thrived on a healthy amount of competitiveness and a desire to be better. John has a natural leadership style that encourages you to be better and do better.

Although we have both pursued new opportunities and no longer work together directly, I regularly use John as a sounding board and mentor. John is sharp, has good advice and he always has time to listen.
